Increased Frequency Gatwick to
From July Ryanair will close its East Midlands to Paris Beauvais
route to accommodate the new Palma and Barcelona routes, Ryanair have also
confirmed that it will be unable to operate scheduled flights to/from
Paris Beauvais between June 3-10 inclusive as the airport is
closed for one week to upgrade its landing systems.

04th May 2009 Emirates
Airlines will be increasing their baggage allowance as follows
(excludes First Class 50kg Business Class
40kg Economy Class 30kg The maximum limit for health and safety
reasons is 32kg per bag. The above increase means that there are no longer
any exceptions and all discretionary powers have now
ceased. Passengers wishing to travel with anything whatsoever in excess of
the checked and hand baggage
provisions are liable to be charged from
the first additional kilo onwards.

Department of Transport requires all laptops to be removed from customers’
bags during the security process and all Heathrow
Terminals as they must be scanned separately, Please allow extra time at
Heathrow for this additional security measure.
EasyJet ***Easychange*** Should
you miss your flight with Easyjet you can catch the next available flight
for a flat charge of £35 if you turn up to the airport
within
two hours of your original flight’s scheduled departure time.
Ryanair ***
All Ryanair bookings, including passengers
travelling with babies and checked-in baggage, will move to online
check-in and `bag drop’ only from 20May. This is part of the airline’s strategy
to phase out the use of check-in desks at all of its airports by 1 October. From
Wednesday 20May Ryanair will
no longer accept bookings for unaccompanied minors under 16 years old and
all new bookings
will require passengers, including infants and those on domestic
flights, to hold a valid passport or
national identity card.
A £40 re-issue fee will be
introduced for passengers who arrive at the airport without their
pre-printed web
check-in boarding card.
Guidelines for a successful
Russian Visa Application ·
As a third party
often obtains the invitation/telex of approval, it is imperative that you
check the name of the Russian organisation stated as the inviting party on
your invitation/telex. This third party MUST BE the same as is named on
your visa application form & ·
The visa form requests confirmation of the Express
or ·
Changes cannot be
made to the validity or number of entries requested once submitted. It will be very important that you apply for the
correct visa according to the supporting documentation provided.

Clients that make a mistake on the form they have
submitted MUST then cancel
their form and re-submit a correct & revised version or delays in
submission of the application will occur.
·
Clients that pre-pay the visa fee online MUST provide proof of this with their
application in the form of the HSBC payment confirmation which is
generated. There is no other way of knowing without this proof and will
have to pay the non-refundable visa fee again at VFS and charge the
clients accordingly. ·
All application forms must have the web reference
number on the top left of the form or delays in submission of the
application will occur. ·
This form does not apply to US or Georgian
nationals, who complete a pdf visa form available on our website in the
relevant visa information pages. ·
There must be no handwriting on the form once
printed, other than the signature. THE
DATE MUST BE TYPED ON THE FORM. ·
The application form
will expire after 15 days – submission must be within this period or a new
form will be required. Please ensure you advise
QBT of any changes in your personal details so these can be updated on
your personal traveller profiles.
